Spoiler Alert > Did you found the sever entry ? use the switch in the next room after the sever entry maybe, couldt get past the magic gate so never reached the tombs. I'm meant to find their soul jars in here, but I'm stuck near the end with a tomb that won't open. I'm currently in some dungeon with three necromancers that don't die. That is, unless I'm not at the end of the maze yet, but a gargoyle did congratulate me so I'm not sure. Not really sure how I got to the end really, considering I only went through two sections (including the one with the truth rat), but it seemed to work fine. I have Braccus' ring, but I put it on one of Lohse instead of my main character which I use to engage with most people, so the gargoyles didn't mention it at all. The rat didn't give me anything anyway, so it felt kinda pointless saving it. I used an electric spell, killed it, shrugged, and kept on my merry way.Īlso I got through the entire thing by showing the gargoyle Braccus's ring, and then I went back to see what else was in the maze. During the conversation, it turns out that they are completely detached from reality. This section is missing, please fill it in.Originally posted by cae37: Ha! I knew I screwed something up. The quest activates when you reach the tower at the end of Gargoyles Maze. The player should now have found all 6 skulls in the maze, go to the tower entrance and the gargoyle there will reward the player.Go down this corridor for more loot, but watch out for floor traps to ignite the Poison Gas cloud.*# Go around the corner for another Crumbling Skull on a body.Go out the southern gate in the room the Historian was at and follow the image to find another Crumbling Skull on a corpse in a corridor. Go through this portal into the Realm of Orobas shown to find another skull. The Gargoyles Maze is a side-quest in Divinity: Original Sin 2 This quest is automatically acquired when you find the Gargoyles Maze. After saving the Historian go through the gate in the image and set a character on the pressure plate shown, opposite of it in the lower room a Crumbling Skull will appear. This can be achieved via: Nebora at Fort Joy or Leyla at Sanctuary of Amadia. The Gargoyles Maze is a side quest in Divinity: Original Sin II. In order to be able to cast Bless, Sourcerers must have their Collars removed. The spells must be casted quickly since the Historians health will drop. In order to save him the Sourcerers need to first cast Raining Blood, then Rain and then Bless. The moment he is approached 3 skeletons, namely: Incandescent Decapitator, Incandescent Marksman and Incandescent Scorcher will appear and attack you. Within the maze (roughly at X: 534, Y: 94), the Sourcerers may find the Historian who is suffering from the Hellfire casted upon him by Braccus Rex.Collect the Crumbling Skull with the third character. Send a second character through the door to the indicated spot where the second pressure plate is at, again beware of trapped floor tiles. Once in this room set one character on the pressure plate in the center of the room, beware of the trapped floors.Continue left through the gate and the player will discover a hatch that leads to the hatch on the opposite side of the wall.If the person who stands on the plate moves away the skull will disappear from the altar and reappear only after the plate is activated again. These skulls will have to be picked up either by using Telekinesis, another person or by using teleportation skill. At the entrance in the maze (as well as some deeper areas) there is a pressure plate which will conjure Crumbling skull on an altar to the left (roughly at X:547, Y:108).It is possible to traverse the maze from the Braccus Rex's tower if they chose to use the Band of Braccus. The Sourcerers need to find Crumbling Skulls in order to get past locked gates and take advantage of the treasures found within the maze. The Band of Braccus is gained by slaying Trompdoy at Dark cavern.if you bypass the maze this way, the gargoyle at the end of the maze will NOT reward you. Show the Band of Braccus to the Gargoyle and let themselves be teleported right to the entrance of the Braccus Rex's Tower or proceed through the maze on their own. If you have Braccus ring in your possession, the gargoyle at the main entrance will assume you ARE Braccus and teleport you completely past the maze. The Sourcerers there are faced with 2 options.
